  • Application Version: 4.5 - 4.7

 

  1. Open Netscape
  2. From the menu bar, click Edit and choose Preferences.


  3. From Mail & Groups click the Identity link.


  4. In the Your Name text box, type your name.
  5. In the Email Address text box, type your email address. For example: Joe@ITIcomputers.com


  6. From Mail & Newsgroups click the Mail Servers link.


  7. Outgoing Mail server
    • In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: text box, add smtp.domain.com (for example: smtp.vel.net)
    • In the Outgoing mail server user name: text box, add username@domain.com (for example: mary@vel.net)


  8. Outgoing Mail server
    • Select the Add button for Incoming mail server.
    • In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type pop3@domain.com (for example: pop3.vel.net)
    • Server Type is POP3
    • Username:username%mydomain.com (for example: Joe@vel.net)
    • Select Remember Password


  9. Click the OK button to close the window.
  10. Click the OK button to close the window.
  11. Close all your netscape windows
  12. Reboot your computer
