  1. Click the Start button.
  2. From the Start menu, point to Netscape Communicator and choose Netscape Navigator.


  3. From the menu bar, click Edit and choose Preferences.


  4. From Mail & Groups click the Identity link.


  5. In the Full Name text box, type your name.
  6. In the Email Address text box, type email address. For example: Joe@ITIcomputers.com


  7. From Mail & Groups click the Mail Server link.


  8. In the Mail server username text box, type your email address replacing the '@' with a '%'. For expample: Joe%vel.net
  9. In the Outgoing mail [SMTP] server text box, type smtp.domain.com. (For example smtp.ITIcomputers.com)


  10. Select the Edit button for Incoming mail server.
  11. In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type pop3.domain.com. (For example pop3.ITIcomputers.com)
  12. Server Type is POP3
  13. Username: username%mydomain.com (for example Joe%ITIcomputers.com)
  14. Select Remember Password


  15. Click the OK button to close the window.
  16. Click the OK button to close the window.
  17. Close all your Netscape windows and then reopen. You will be able to send and receive email.
