The Internet Traffic Report monitors the flow of data around the world. It then displays a value between zero and 100. Higher values indicate faster and more reliable connections.
How to Configure Outlook Express
Home > Email Clients > Microsoft Outlook > Configure Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Configure Mail Settings
  3. From the Outlook Express Tools menu, select Accounts as shown on the graphic below.
  4. Click on the Mail tab, highlight the account that you wish to change and click on the Properties button
  5. General tab
    1. This tab contains the basic information for your e-mail account.
    2. Mail Account - You can put whatever you wish in this field. If you have more than one e-mail account, you can put a "friendly" name here. It makes it easier to identify each individual account.
    3. User Information:
      1. Name: Your Name. For example John Doe
      2. Organizaiton: You can leave this blank.
      3. Email: Your email address. For example Joe@yourdomain.com
      4. Reply address: Your email address. For example Joe@yourdomain.com
      5. Check the box if you want this account included everytime you check for email.



  6. Servers tab
    1. Server Information:
      1. Incoming mail server type: POP3
      2. Incoming mail (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
      3. Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
    2. Incoming Mail Server
      1. Account name: Your e-mail address in this field. For example Joe@yourdomain.com
      2. Password: Your e-mail password in this field.
      3. Check the Remember password box if you don't want to have to type in your password whenever you check your e-mail.
    3. Outgoing Mail Server
      1. Check the My server requires authentication box in order to send mail out.
      2. Select the Settings Button




  7. Logon Information:
    1. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server
    2. Select OK



  8. When you are finished making changes, click Apply
  9. Click OK to close the Properties window.
  10. Select File, Exit to close Outlook
